MANSI KATARIA is a practicing Architect since 20 years. She has done her bachelors from Bachelors in Architecture, B K P S college of Architecture, Pune and Masters in architecture ( Urban Design ) from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. She is the Creative Head at IE Design, Delhi. It has been 17 years and a strong link with academics and the passion to design; goad her on to consistently return to the realm of good and meaningful architectural practice. She has been a visiting faculty at Post Grad Dept. Of Urban Design, School of Planning & Architecture, Delhi and Grad Dept. Of Physical Planning, School of Planning & Architecture, Delhi.
TAPAN K CHAKRAVARTY is a senior professor in School of Design at Pearl Academy, New Delhi with an experience of over 30 years. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture in 1984 and Masters in Urban Design in 1986 from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and PG Certificate in Higher Education from Nottingham-Trent University, UK. He is professionally engaged since 1984 with numerous Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Architecture projects and associated with organizations like UNDP and INTACH as you all know. As an educator, he is engaged since 1987 with several well known institutes of Architecture and Design; starting off as a research assistant to becoming the Head of Department and becoming a Dean. As a designer, he is engaged as a consultant and advisor, specializing in Residential Architecture, Interior Architecture, City Architecture, Rural Architecture and Public Precincts.
SANDEEP B. MENON is a landscape architect with fifteen years of experience in practicing landscape architecture and ecological design. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture Degree and a Bachelor of Architecture Degree, both from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. He was the recipient of the SPA Gold Medal for the Best Student of Master of Landscape Architecture and the Narendra Juneja Gold Medal for the Best Landscape Thesis Project. He was the Design Director at Integral Designs International Studio Pvt Ltd, a landscape architectural practice based in New Delhi. He has worked on landscape design and master planning projects of varying scales in various bio-geographies. He is currently involved in the European Union Erasmus Plus research project for ‘Building Resilient Communities’ (BReUCom) and the World Resources Institute (WRI) initiated Research on Urban Mobility in Mumbai. His ongoing research on the ecological significance of Kaavu (Sacred Groves) of Kerala was presented as a research paper at the International Federation of Landscape Architects Asia Pacific Region Conference at Bangkok in 2017.
DEEPANJAN SAHA is an educator and researcher in architecture and city planning. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Hons.) from Jadavpur University, and a Masters Degree in City Planning from IIT Kharagpur where he was awarded the Institute Silver Medal. He has been an exchange student at Technical University Darmstadt as a DAAD Scholar during his post-graduate studies. He has served Delhi Development Authority as an Assistant Director in the Review of Master Plan for Delhi-2021 for a little more than two years. Currently, he is teaching at the Department of Planning and Architecture at NIT Rourkela for more than a year now. Deepanjan is also pursuing doctoral research from IIT Kharagpur through which he is examining the spatiality of weaving communities in Varanasi. At IIT Kharagpur, besides doctoral studies, he had participated in several collaborative urban planning and design studios separately held with MIT, Columbia University, and Georgia Tech.
Deena Gandhi is a practicing Architect with over 15 years of experience in the field. She has done her Bachelors in Architecture from JNEC Aurangabad in 1996. She is a partner in Arkitekts Adessein, Delhi since 1998. Her team is made up of architects and interior designers who master all styles with a unique flair. Her firm works across disciplines, pay close attention to detail, and relate to specific needs of the users. She highly values quality, professionalism, precision, transparency, and proper timing.
RAHUL SARKAR is Civil Engineering Professional; hold B.E. in Civil with MBA in International Business(IIFT Alumni).He has over two decade of experience in Construction & Fit-out Industry spanning across wide array of sectors like leisure, hospitality, Blue-chip corporate, high-street retail including BFSI and Healthcare sector which helped him gather specialization in Contracts and Sourcing of various construction materials, to help employer to setup budget ,perform tender and vendor management and create world class design build asset. This has further afforded him the opportunity to work on foreign lands with International peers and carried him from his home in India to the Middle East. His diversified experience across the variety of projects and regions has created a “functional & cultural sensitivity” to working within new modalities, environments and different nationalities. He is currently working as Senior Associate Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
MAYANK MANCHANDA is a practicing Architect since 19 years. He has done his Bachelors in Architecture from Sushant School of Art & Architecture in 2001. He is the Principal Architect of of his own practice “Centroid Plus” created with a mission to explore the various opportunities to use the existing experience and give the best to the client. Have diversified in various fields of providing services like architectural and Interior design consultancy.He has worked as Associate Professor in Lingaya’s university, Faridabad.
Dr. Vishakha is associate professor, Head of the Department of
Architectural Conservation at school of Planning and Architecture,
Bhopal. Having done her bachelors from Bachelor of Architecture,
MIET Gondia/Nagpur University, She post graduated in Architectural
Conservation from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
Also, Phd in Museology, National Museum Institute, Delhi.
She has worked as a conservation architect and consultant to various
projects like Management plan Sanchi, Restoration of South block,
PMO office-New Delhi, Majuli Island Cultural Landscape, Integrated
Management Plan for World Heritage Site of Hampi Cultural
Landscape.
Prof. Dr. Chitrarekha Kabre earned her Doctorate in Architecture from the
University of Queensland, Australia degree of Master of Building Engineering &
Management from the SPA New Delhi and degree of Bachelor of Architecture from
the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal.
She has 30 years of academic and professional experience in the field of computer
aided architectural design, project management and sustainable architecture. She
has been the pioneer of sustainable architecture education and research at the
eminent institutions like the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Manipal
University and presently Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and
Technology, Murthal.
She is the author of the book ‘Sustainable Building Design: Application using
Climatic Data in India’ published by Springer.
Practicing architect and a Green building consultant. Specializes in energy Efficient Design and sustainable solutions. Having done his B.Arch from IET Bhaddal, he did his masters in Architecture from D.C.R.U.S.T and bagged a Gold Medal. He has a nine years of work experience in design to occupancy services for Institutional, Educational, High Rise Group Housing, Villas, Corporate, Commercial, Residential and Retail Interiors. He also Experience in green buildings, energy efficient designs and sustainable solutions. He is Registered with Council of Architecture- India and Empanelled with Haryana State Govt. Authorities: DTCP, HSVP, MCF, HSIIDC, DULB.
Ms. Sanyukta has over 10 years of experience in the field of Architecture with a specialization in Sustainable Environmental Design (SED). Her experience includes working with government ministries and agencies such as Bureau of Energy Efficiency under Ministry of Power, AAI, NBCC, MOUD and various bilateral and multilateral agencies. She is involved in development, implementation, training and capacity building of various EE building codes and Standards in India working with Government of several countries. She was a panel member in formulating the sustainable building guidelines for the National Building Code of India for Bureau of Indian Standards.
Ankit, graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 2011 with a B.Arch
degree, post-graduation he enrolled for a master’s program in the field of
Energy Efficiency and Sustainability from CEPT University Ahmedabad where
he was awarded with the Best student of the Year and Best Research Awards.
He has also received Rising Star award from TERI for his efforts and hard
work for green building rating development in 2014. He has also been certified
by BEE, Ministry of Power GoI as ECBC Master Trainer; he was selected as
the Juror for Frost and Sullivan Sustainability awards and was awarded with
the prestigious Building Energy Efficiency Higher & Advanced Network
(BHAVAN) Fellowship Program supported by the Govt. of India, under
Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum. He is also pursuing his PhD in the
field of Energy Efficiency from IIT Roorkee.
Ankit Bhalla is currently working as a Dy Manager-Technical in GRIHA
Council, TERI, New Delhi.
A 1995 Graduate of TVB School of Habitat Studies and a Post Graduate in Industrial Design from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi in 1997 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management and a Certificate in ‘Community Engagement in Architecture’ from Bauhaus University, Weimar, Germany, Amit Sharma has an experience of more than 20 years and is the Principal Architect & Designer at Axiom India which has done a wide range of work that includes urban design projects, housing, public infrastructure, private houses, offices, factories and product design. He was a partner at ADHAR Design from 1997 to 2004. He is associated with Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, Delhi Chapter since 2006. He is also a member of the Board of Studies at World University of Design.
