The academic visit to The Kunj was an enriching experience that connected classroom learning with real-world sustainable practices. The Kunj is more than a retail space, it is a thoughtfully curated platform celebrating Indian handicrafts, handlooms, and artisan stories. The beautifully designed interiors, inspired by crafts from different states, created an immersive cultural atmosphere. Each store highlighted ethical production, natural materials, and authentic craftsmanship. From handcrafted games and brass utensils to sustainable apparel and traditional artworks with certified packaging, every product reflected creativity and responsibility. The visit helped us understand how sustainability is practiced through eco-friendly processes, inclusive packaging, and support for local artisans. It also revealed pricing strategies, branding approaches, and market positioning within craft-based businesses. Overall, the experience bridged theory and practice, deepening our appreciation for sustainable fashion and the cultural value of Indian craftsmanship.
WUD has given me a sense of security, togetherness and happiness all around. I feel awesome being here.

My journey at WUD was where my passion for art found both direction and depth. The environment here allowed me to experiment freely while receiving the mentorship I needed to refine my practice and step into the art world with my own voice.

The amount of knowledge I gained along with real life experiences is incomprehensible. Being located in Delhi NCR is a huge advantage as I could regularly visit galleries and meet with artists. Apart from academics, the college holds sports and non-curricular activities in a high regard, which is great for the students.
