RAJAN SHRIPAD FULARI
Visual Artist-Educator-Curator Rajan Shripad Fulari, comes from small village called Siolim of beautiful land of Goa. Fulari is an excellent artist who acquired his degree of Fine Arts from the Goa College of Arts and then later acquired his master's from M S University, Vadodara in Gujarat. He also studied Film Appreciation from FTII, Pune. His works have been exhibited in National and International Exhibitions held at Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Scotland, London, Canada, Abu Dhabi etc. and with many important galleries / museums in India and abroad.
Throughout his whole artistic journey, Rajan Shripad Fulari has achieved many awards and he continues to expand his list of achievements. Fulari is been honoured with many prestigious awards and scholarship across India by well know national organization and also from abroad including to name few the Yuva Surjana Puraskar by Govt. of Goa, a National Scholarship & Junior Fellowship from Govt. of India, National Award from Rajasthan, Lalit Kala Akademi, AIFACS Award, New Delhi and artist in residency from Foundacao Oriente (Goa) for Portugal, Charles Wallace / British Council / Scottish Border Council for Scotland and recently McMaster University, Canada. And recently his prints were exhibited in solo show along with legendary none other than REMBRANT in the International Triennial in France.
Recently he was appointed for the prestigious post of Secretary at the famous Lalit Kala Akademi in New Delhi. And earlier, he served as the head of the printmaking studio as well as at the Lalit Kala Akademi, regional centres of Delhi and Chennai for 11 long years. Further, he has been currently working as an assistant professor at the prestigious College of Arts and Crafts, Lucknow University for the last six years. Earlier he served as a lecturer at Goa College of Fine Art for six years and Graphic Designer with Goa Doordarshan.
Fulari have also curated, coordinated and conducted many exhibitions and other activities in Visual Arts. He also curates few group shows, workshops and camps of well know and young artists from India and abroad. Also, as an active printmaker he is been coordinating number of Print-Portfolios with various groups and galleries across, for the promotion of printmaking in India and Abroad. A keen participator, he has attended several camps & workshops.
Fulari art works are in the collections of several private and public collections in India and elsewhere. With vast experience of more than 25 years in the Contemporary Art Scenario, he is a humble and profound artist and teacher.
