Yes, the application can be submitted before declaration of the results. However, candidates applying for admission will be eventually required to fulfil all the eligibility criteria for admission to the programme. Their admission will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Written Test and Interview, it is found that candidate does not fulfil eligibility criteria, his / her candidature for the admission shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference.

Admission Form - Aptitude Test - Campus Interview - Offer Letter.
After receiving the application form, it will be processed for eligibility of the candidate. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date/time of the tests/interview. Wherever applicable WUDs DAT/AAT or GAT Aptitude Tests will be conducted. For admission to B Arch program, NATA of JEE scores will be required.
Candidates will be required to bring requisite documents in original along with their attested photocopies. Details about course specific admission process are mentioned in the Information Brochure.
Eligibility for Bachelor Programmes:
Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level or equivalent exams like AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE/ State Board etc. (in relevant stream) are eligible to apply for undergraduate degree programmes.
In addition to marks in the qualifying examinations, the admission will be based on performance in Aptitudes Test followed by a personal interview.
Eligibility for Masters Programmes:
Candidates who have completed 3/4-year full-time bachelors in Design/ Engineering/Architecture/ Fine Arts or equivalent, are eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exams and the results are expected to be declared latest by 31st October can also apply. The admission will be based on performance in Aptitude Test followed by a personal interview.

No. All candidates are required to register for the programme on the date of Commencement of batch to which admission has been granted.
The upper age limit for applying in bachelor programmes is restricted to 20 years relaxable up to 3 years on proving genuine evidence of discontinuity in education profile. However for Post graduate programmes there is no age limit.

The WUD Aptitude Tests for Admission aims to test a candidate’s general aptitude for the program applied for, general IQ, logical reasoning, and vocabulary as well as observation power. The tests are -
DAT and PG-DAT (Design Aptitude Test)– For admission to Design, Fashion & Communication.
AAT and PG-AAT (Art Aptitude Test)- For Admission to Art.
GAT and PG-GAT (General Aptitude Test) - For Admission to Management.
The Aptitude Test aims to assess the general IQ level, logical reasoning and lateral thinking of a candidate. Questions asked will be of 10+2 level for Undergraduate program. For PG programs, the level will be of graduation. Sample test papers will be available on request.
All the selected candidates will be personally informed by the University.
After the students have submitted their admission form and application, they will be called for counselling on stipulated dates at the University campus. During the counselling the selected candidates get a chance to select the programme.

There is no authorized ranking for Design College in India, having said that we are the largest college in design education in India with the biggest portfolio of design courses to offer.

There are a lot of industry interface built in the curriculum. There are 2-3 average visits depending on the subject and semester.

The course is in equivalence with the prevailing academic professional graduation degree in the country and approved by UGC which is of 4 years. There is an option to exit after 3 years with a BSc degree in some programmes.

The Entrance exam/Interview is mandatory for admission. However WUD wants to promote students from Haryana and students with industry background to join its programmes and there will be preference for them.
